About this Leopard 50
Bereshit — Hebrew for “In the Beginning” — is a 2023-built Leopard 50 catamaran with four ensuite queen cabins sleeping up to 8 guests. Onboard highlights include a full-beam flybridge, wraparound salon windows, a water maker, an ice maker, and onboard Wi-Fi, plus a broad line-up of water toys — a dinghy with a tow tube, a stand-up paddle board, a single kayak, sea scooters, and full snorkel gear (rendezvous scuba diving can be arranged separately). Captain Pablo Gomez Gonzalez, a Spanish sailor with more than 20,000 offshore miles under his belt, and Chef Aritz Santiago Ballesteros, whose culinary training spans Mediterranean, Asian, and South American cuisine, crew Bereshit together, delivering an all-inclusive charter experience around the Virgin Islands with the flexibility to relocate to St. Maarten and down-island.

Worth Knowing
- Minimum charter length is 5 nights (shorter considered on request)
- 24-hour turnaround between charters
- Rendezvous diving only — no dive compressor aboard
- Charters other than 7 nights are pro-rated from the weekly rate
- Christmas and New Year charters require a 7-night minimum
- Available in the USVI/BVI and St. Maarten, with relocation possible down-island
- Onboard drinking water is tested for purity
Discounts
- Half-board: deducts $150 per person — requires 3 lunches and 4 dinners ashore at guest expense
- Sleep-aboard: the night before at 50% of the daily rate, including boarding after 4pm, a welcome cocktail and canapés, and breakfast the next morning (excludes Christmas/New Year weeks)
Half-board must be arranged through your booking agent — it’s not automatic.
Meet the Crew
Captain Pablo Gomez Gonzalez has more than four years as a professional sailor and three as a skipper, with over 20,000 nautical miles behind him including two Atlantic crossings and a delivery from Cape Town to the Mediterranean. He spent summers guiding charter guests through the Balearics, and is meticulous about planning, weather and the detail that keeps a week running smoothly. Chef Aritz Santiago Ballesteros runs the galley and doubles as mate.
