Meet the Crew
Captain Tyler Strydom and Chef Gabriella Leatt are confirmed aboard for the 2026/27 season. Tyler started five years ago in Hout Bay harbor working on yacht refits, which is where the practical understanding of boats came from, then captained luxury liveaboard spearfishing charters along the East African coast out of Zanzibar. He is a commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and a PADI Divemaster, and has run private charters through East Africa and the Caribbean. He likes shaping the week to the group, whether that is watersports from dawn or doing very little; off duty he is usually kitesurfing or diving.
