Celebrate aboard your own crewed catamaran in the British Virgin Islands.
Why you are sailing
Make Your Celebration Part of the Voyage
A private crewed catamaran offers a rare setting where your celebration can unfold entirely on your own terms. Your captain and chef help shape the week around the occasion — from the anchorage you wake up to, to the menu and a beautifully set table as the sun goes down. Share what you’re celebrating when we begin planning, and the details can be arranged well before you step aboard.
Birthdays
Banners, balloons and a cake baked in the galley. The guest of honor chooses the anchorage and the dinner menu for their evening.
Anniversaries
A table set on the foredeck, candles, a multi-course menu, and a crew who withdraw for the evening.
Engagements
Crews have concealed rings in dessert, arranged a swim ashore to an empty beach and filmed the moment from the dinghy. Tell your captain in advance and the surprise stays between the two of you.
Honeymoons
The best cabin aboard, a quieter itinerary, breakfast in bed if you would like it, and anchorages chosen for privacy rather than nightlife.
Graduations
A family yacht on which the graduate sets the pace: foiling and tubing through the day, a favorite meal and a toast at sunset.
Theme Nights
A white night, a pirate night, an island night or a favorite decade. Bring the outfits and tell the chef the theme, and the crew will match the menu and the music.
Holidays aboard
Holidays in the Islands
Most yachts carry decorations for every occasion, and the crews make a great deal of the larger holidays: a tree and stockings at Christmas, a full turkey dinner at Thanksgiving, hats and a countdown at New Year, and their own touches for Easter, Halloween and the Fourth of July. If you are sailing over a holiday, you can expect it to be marked. Tell us which traditions matter to you and we will look for a crew who keeps them in the same way.

What is included, what is extra
What the Crew Provide, and What Is Charged Separately
Decorating, baking, planning a surprise and setting a table are part of what your crew do during the week, and there is no occasion fee. What is charged separately is anything they must buy ashore or reserve on your behalf, and you will see the cost before anything is purchased.
- Included on most yachts: decorations already carried aboard, a cake or dessert from the galley, a themed menu, a playlist, a table set on the beach, and photographs taken by the crew.
- Charged at cost: fresh flowers, a specialty cake from a bakery ashore, a particular champagne or spirit outside the standard bar, and restaurant reservations.
- Arranged in advance through us: a photographer or videographer, live music, a massage therapist, a private dinner ashore, a beach bonfire, and helicopter or seaplane transfers.

How it works
From First Call to First Night Aboard
Start by telling us the occasion, the size of your party and roughly when you would like to sail. That shapes the shortlist before price comes into it. From there we match the yacht and the crew, and see that the cake, the decorations and the surprise all reach the preference sheet well before you board.
If the surprise is for someone traveling with you, let us know at the start and we will keep it out of anything sent to the whole group.
Questions
Special Occasion Questions
Does celebrating an occasion cost extra?
No. Decorating, baking, planning a surprise and setting a table are part of what your crew do during the week, and there is no occasion fee. Anything bought ashore or reserved on your behalf is charged at cost, and you will see the price first.
Do the yachts carry decorations?
Most do, for every occasion, and the crews make a particular effort over the larger holidays. Anything beyond what is already aboard can be bought ashore and charged at cost.
Can the crew keep a surprise from the rest of our party?
Yes, and they are practiced at it. Tell us and the captain at the outset, and we will keep it out of anything sent to the whole group.
Can we bring our own cake or decorations?
Most crews are happy to work with whatever you bring aboard. Mention it in advance so that the chef can plan around it.
Do children count toward the guest maximum?
Yes. A yacht’s maximum is the number of people aboard, children included. Many yachts offer a reduced rate for children, which is listed on that yacht’s own page.
How far in advance should we book?
The sooner the better for a particular yacht or a holiday week. Provisioning and any arrangement ashore are settled before you board, so the earlier the occasion is known, the more can be done with it.
