About this 2021 Bali 4.8
ISLAND STANDARD TIME is a 2021 Bali 4.8 sailing catamaran that took home “Best in Show” at the 2024 BVI Charter Yacht Society boat show. She sleeps up to eight guests across four spacious queen cabins, each with a private en-suite head, and stays comfortable with full air conditioning, solar power, and a water maker running throughout the charter. Based out of Village Cay Marina in Tortola, she carries a deep watersports inventory – twin sea scooters, stand-up paddleboards, a wakeboard, subwing, towable tube, and a 10 ft. floating dock – for endless days on the water. Captain Solomon Wood and Chef Cian Browne run the boat, pairing Solomon’s RYA Yachtmaster-certified sailing know-how with Cian’s classically trained, farm-to-fork approach to a fully customizable onboard menu.

- Christmas 2026 and New Year 2026/27 require a 7-night minimum and carry a holiday surcharge, charter must end no later than 12/27 for Christmas
- St. Martin/St. Barths relocation possible with advance notice and additional fees

The Local Fare meal-plan discount must be requested through your booking agent prior to the charter and is applied per person based on the meals guests choose to take ashore.
Meet the Crew
Captain Victoria Little comes from a family of sailors and first took the helm at four years old. She has taught sailing from Australia to Greece, most recently skippered a 1930s classic on the south coast of England, and holds a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore along with powerboat instructor and engine qualifications. She is as happy in the engine room as at the wheel, and makes a good rum punch. Chef George Turner grew up in the landlocked English midlands but spent every holiday at his grandparents’ house by the sea.
