Meet the Crew
Captain Joe Carew-Bourke was born and raised in Auckland and spent his childhood on the water. A sailing holiday in Croatia during his civil engineering degree turned into a season’s work, and he went professional in 2018; he has since logged more than 60,000 nautical miles, six transatlantic crossings and a Pacific crossing, and holds an RYA Yachtmaster Ocean. He is also handy on the grill and behind the bar. Chef Josh Daries runs the galley and Georgie Bark looks after the deck and interior.
